beaches each with the land cover
to sustain resort

natural harbor fronting the
Island of Malobot-lobot. The
other beaches face west, south
west and north east. One beach
has sand dotted pink and orange,
a unique quality in all the
beaches of Northern Palawan. The
beach on the east portion of the
island is around 700 to 800
meters long, and is a turtle
beach, where the turtles return
to lay their eggs. Tabon birds
also nest on the island. The
island is home to deer that have
migrated from other islands.

POTENTIALS
- Currently there are
discussions with cruise ship
operators to bring this area
into the itinerary of
destinations. Nanga Island is
already marked as a stop off
point for some local for profit
tour companies. In addition,
there are some perfect diving
sites around the island. Coral
reefs abound, and are really
alive with marine life. Many
colors of tropical fish can be
found in the very clear waters.
The east portion of the island
is fronting another attractive
island with excellent diving
area too. The island has
potential for a World Class
Resort.
